Salam Alaikum dear sisters,🌸
How are you feeling today?
Yesterday, we were consciously finding teachers in every soul, recognising that even difficult people or situations carry wisdom when seen through the lens of growth.
Today, we turn inward.
Be aware of yourself your thoughts, your words, your feelings, and your actions.
💭 A small reflection from my own practice:
I did this task previously and I noticed myself often saying: “You know…”
No, other person actually doesn’t know anything. 😄
Just like “um” or “like,” “you know” I used as a verbal filler when thinking or trying to organise my thoughts.
“So, you know, I was just walking and, you know, it kind of…”
It was about my own need to feel understood.
This small phrase revealed an unconscious pattern… and with awareness, it softened.
So if you catch yourself saying “you know” or any other phrase a lot:
Ask yourself: “What am I really trying to say?”
Am I seeking connection? Hiding vulnerability? Buying time to think?
It’s not wrong, it’s a clue to deeper emotional or mental patterns.
And becoming aware of it can help you speak with more confidence and clarity.
Sometimes we speak, act, or feel on autopilot. But every word and emotion is a door to deeper self-understanding.
🧕🏼💡 Emotional Detox – Day 13 Task: “Self-Awareness in Motion”
Today, just observe yourself like a compassionate witness:
🌸What are your most repeated phrases?
🌸How do you talk about yourself (even in your head)?
🌸What emotional states do you return to often?
🌸Are your actions aligned with your inner truth?
You don’t need to change anything , simply be present with yourself.
Write them down in a notebook.
🌿 So if you want to understand others more, first, understand yourself.
The more honest and compassionate you are with your own inner world,
the clearer and kinder your understanding of others will become.
Wishing you all a nice day☀️❤️
