Salam Alaikum dear sisters, 🌸hope you are feeling better and better, InshaAllah.
Today is not about pushing, performing, or proving anything.
Today is for healing. Quiet, gentle, personal healing, the kind that begins when you slow down and ask:
“What does my body need from me today?”
We often carry so much without noticing: stress in the jaw, grief in the chest, anxiety in the stomach. Our body remembers what we try to forget. So let’s give it a moment of love, presence, and care in the way Islam encourages: with calm, mercy, and intention.
I personally believe that we can heal ourselves, especially when we starting noticing first symptoms and knowing more and more about ourselves. Each body cell is listening to our thoughts, feelings and actions.
Day 28 Task – Body Healing + Mindful Touch
Step 1: Quiet Presence (Mindfulness)
Take 3 deep breaths. Sit or lie down somewhere peaceful.
Then gently ask yourself:
• Where do I feel tension today?
• Is there heaviness in my chest?
• A knot in my stomach?
• Tiredness in my eyes or back?
Simply notice without judging or fixing. This is *mindfulness: awareness without pressure.
This is mindfulness: awareness without pressure.
And if you’re thinking, “I’ve heard this before,” or “That’s too simple to work,” I lovingly say: you’re wrong.
💭 Like one sister said, “This definitely won’t work for me.”
But the truth is it does. And it can. Because correct mindfulness isn’t just a trend or soft advice it’s a doorway to healing. It’s the first step in coming back to yourself, to your breath, to your peace, to Allah SWT .
The mind rushes and the body remembers. When you pause and just notice, without trying to fix everything -your body finally feels safe to release.
🤲 Step 2: Hand to Heart – Touch for Healing
Now, take your hand and gently place it over the area that needs attention.
It could be:
• Your chest (emotional weight)
• Your stomach (stress or anxiety)
• Your head (mental overload)
• Your womb (feminine grief or fatigue)
As your hand rests, say softly:
“Ya Allah, send healing here.”
“This part of me is safe now.”
“I don’t need to carry this alone.”
Stay like this for 1–2 minutes. Let your hand remind that part of your body: “I see you. I hear you. I’m here for you.”
✍️ Step 3: Journal
• What part of my body felt most tense or ignored?
• What do I think that part is trying to tell me?
• What message of healing do I want to send to it today?
“Indeed, with hardship comes ease.” (Qur’an 94:6)
Sometimes ease begins not with a big change, but with a moment of stillness, a breath, a touch, a du’a whispered over the body that has carried you through so much.
Now scientists proved that our skin cells shouts when we are injured. Imagine what your heart, and stomach cells signalising through pain!
💖 May this day bring softness to your heart, healing to your body, and a deeper connection between your soul and self.
