1. About Us
We for You is a non-profit organisation providing free and affordable mental health support services, including listening support, individual and couple consultations, courses, classes, lectures, and webinars. Our services are offered by trained mental health first aiders and are not a substitute for therapy or counselling.
2. Eligibility
By using our services, you confirm that:
• You are at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent to access our services.
• You will use our services solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
3. Scope of Services
• Support Sessions: Our individual and couple support sessions are designed to provide a listening ear and practical guidance for anxiety, stress, loneliness, and relationship issues.
• Courses and Events: We offer classes, workshops, webinars, and other educational services to enhance awareness and coping skills.
• Charity Shop: All proceeds from our charity shop help sustain our operations. Booking of paid sessions, classes, and events is available via the shop.
4. Booking and Payments
• Bookings for consultations, courses, and events must be made through our website or charity shop.
•Payment must be completed at the time of booking. No partial payments are accepted.
5. Refund Policy
Cooling-Off Period (for Online Purchases)
In compliance with UK consumer law, we acknowledge a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases:
• If you book and pay for a session or course online, you are entitled to a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided the service has not commenced.
• Once the session, course, or service begins, no refunds will be issued for attended or missed sessions.
Non-Refundable Services
Refunds are not available under the following conditions:
• The session, course, or service has already commenced.
• The 14-day cooling-off period has expired.
Exceptional Circumstances
In rare and exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies), refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This is at our sole discretion.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
• By the User: You may cancel or reschedule your session or course by contacting us at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable.
• By We for You: In case of unforeseen circumstances requiring cancellation or rescheduling on our part, we will notify you promptly and provide alternative arrangements or a full refund.
7. Use of Services
Our support services are not a substitute for therapy, counselling, or medical intervention. By using our services, you agree that:
• You are responsible for your actions and decisions made during or after sessions.
• You will not hold We for You liable for any outcomes resulting from the support provided.
8. Privacy and Confidentiality
We are committed to protecting your privacy. All personal information shared during sessions or bookings will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Limits to Confidentiality:
While we maintain strict confidentiality, there are exceptions where we may need to disclose information:
• If required by law.
• If there is a risk of harm to you or others.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and educational materials, is the intellectual property of We for You. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute this content without our prior written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, We for You is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services or website.
11. Amendments
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
